Water Restrictions

Although Florida is surrounded by water, rain supplies the vast majority of the water that we depend on. Weather forecasts for 2011 predict below-average rainfall leading to a strain on our water supply. What does this mean for you?  The resources contained on this page can help to answer many of the questions you may have regarding current restrictions and ways that you can help to conserve water. 

Phase I Water Restrictions in Place

Dry conditions have led the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) to implement Phase I water restrictions effective March 26, 2011.
