Mrs. Joan Shore stands proud next to her "Certified Florida Yard" sign after scoring 67 inches. Joan has been gardening for the past 35 years, and is also a member of the Green Thumb Garden Club, North Miami. Her home is on the water front and she is very aware of how fragile our natural resources are. She has even  placed native limestone rocks along her seawall to decrease wave action and increase habitat for wildlife.
