Providing for wildlife; a water source Blue potter weed; 12-36'; full to partial shade; native; shrubby perennial. Must for any butterfly garden.  Using mulch helps retain water, and suppress weeds in the butterfly garden. Some groundcover do very well in highly shaded areas, where it is difficult for grass to grow.
