2012 Florida Seafood Webinar Series

Florida offers more than 80 varieties of seafood.  Do you want to learn more about some of our local finfish, shellfish, wild and aquacultured seafood options?  The Florida Sea Grant Extension Program is offering a Brown Bag Webinar Series.  Spend your lunchtime with us learning about the sustainability and safety of some of Florida's most commercially valuable seafood products. 

Webinars will provide a brief overview of:

  • fisheries management
  • economic values
  • harvest methods and gear
  • food safety
  • nutrition and purchasing tips

Webinars are offered on the third Wednesday of select months from 12:15-12:45 PM EST.
