Pesticide Applicator Training
Potential applicators can attend training classes for General Standards / Core as well as classes that are specific to various categories. For currently certified applicators, all lasses offer CEUs appropriate to the class being offered. Exams are given at the end of the training class. Pre-registration and pre-payment are required. All classes, with the exception of 3 General Standards/Core Training classes, are held in the Auditorium at the John D. Campbell Ag Center in Homestead. All classes begin at 8:30 a.m. Classes which offer 4 CEUs end by 1 p.m. (CEUs only); if you are taking the exam, plan on up to 2 hours more. Classes which offer 6 CEUs end by 3 p.m. (CEUs only); if you are taking the exam, plan on up to 2 hours more.

Limited Certification
Commercial Landscape Maintenance License
Training for the Limited Certification Commercial Landscape Maintenance
License and the Limited Lawn & Ornamental License will be offered
when at least 20 people are interested. . The training will
be the 6 hours of classroom training required for the Limited
Certification Commercial Landscape Maintenance License. It will
also review information pertinent to the exam. This program grants 6.0
CEUs: 3.0 Limited Landscape, Limited Lawn & Ornamental, Commercial
Lawn & Ornamental, Private and Ornamental & Turf + 3.0 Core.
