The Miami-Dade County Youth Fair and Exposition 4-H Registration

The Miami-Dade County Youth Fair and Exposition will soon be here, and now is the time to start getting your youth’s entry items registered into the fair.

In the download section of this webpage you will find step by step instructions on how to submit entries via internet. We recommend you registration via internet in order for you to receive confirmation.

However, if you wish to register via mail or hand delivery you will find the “mail in/hand in” form needed in the download section of this webpage.

Note:

• Only 4-H Youth Members who are in a 4-H club or independent members can participate.
• 4-H members must be enrolled in 4-H a month prior the fair’s deadline in order to qualify to enter exhibits.

• Independent members/members at large are the only ones who should register as “Independent members.”  All other members must register under the club name in which they belong to.

• Those who are participating at the 4-H Day activities with a talent or fashion revue must pre-register with Liz (liz1960@ufl.edu) at the 4-H office (305-592-8044) by the Fair pre-registration deadline (see 4-H calendar for details). If participants are in teams or groups please provide all members names along with their club name, and form of talent to the 4-H office.
• Club leaders make sure you have entered as many entries per child as needed. You will not be able to enter more entries per child after the deadline. It is best to enter more entries that are needed per child than not enough.

• Make sure to read the attached 3 page "Fair Book Guidelines" found on the download section of this webpage.

On Line Entry Instructions: We highly recommend you do registration via internet, because it will provide you with immediate confirmation of entries. This form will provide you with all the information needed to register online.

Mail in/hand in Instructions & Forms (Example Form / Fillable Form). We highly discourage you to register via mail in & hand in. This means of entering entries will not provide confirmation. If you are mailing the forms, make sure that the forms are received at the fair grounds (10901 Coral Way, Miami, FL ) before the registration deadline. The downloadable form will have a blank entry form and an example form, to provide you with guidance.
